I've actually been toying with the idea of trying out real WoW again. I've got a guy at work who's been telling me about all the changes they've made etc etc and I've been getting a bit curious about it. I haven't played in like 5 years I think.

My brother, sister and father seem to be having fun playing it. Part of me really wants to go back, but I don't want to search for a guild and I also don't want to PUG. |

I don't so much mind pugs, I enjoy the convenience. I have a hard time finding a guild that fits what I like. I like smaller groups that are actually helpful to everyone, not just established members. That's why I actually like this group, regardless of the fact I've not been around a lot lately.
Surely others here would succumb to the darkside and revisit wow?? ;P

Hopefully there are people out there who want the real thing. WoW is kinda expensive though. So many expansions PLUS a subscription fee! Beh. At least private server wow is free, even if it is old and sorta buggy.

On the plus side I suppose, looking at my Diablo III account, it seems like you automatically start with everything up thru Mists of Pandaria as long as you buy game time. The newest expansion is still $50 tho, of course.

Right now WoW (all expansions pre-Warlords of Draenor) is on sale for $10 and the Warlords of Draenor expansion is on sale for $38.
So, if anyone has any interest in the game you can get it all for less than the regular price of the expansion for the next 10 days.
