Preamble:
We are all adults here, and all of our members should conduct themselves as such. Just because this is the internet and nobody can see your face does not mean you have license to say all those crazy things that you would never say to somebody in real life to us.
This code of conduct is mostly a formality that we can fall back on in the case of sudden rapid expansion (disrupting the status quo) or jerks suddenly joining our guild.
The four rules:
1. Golden Rule.
2. Work as a guild
3. Be considerate
4. Assholes get booted.
1. The golden rule: Treat others how you would like to be treated
a. Members will not partake in hate speech of any kind. It will be considered grounds for immediate removal from the guild if hate speech or slurs are directed toward any member of the guild or any player of whatever game we are playing.
b. Don't harass people. It's not nice.
c. If you are about to say something or do something to someone which you would not like for somebody to say or do to you... Don't do it.
2. Work as a guild
a. Guildies are expected to helpful to each other, within reason (see point #3.b of Be Considerate).
b. All guildies, from officers to new kittens, are valued members of our community. There will be zero-tolerance for elitism and cliques. For example, if a group of cats are all hanging out a certain town/area, do not withhold that information knowingly from new kittens.
3. Be Considerate.
a. In keeping with the points above, please be considerate of your fellow guildies. These are people you will talk with or "see" on a regular basis so at the very least, try to remain on civil terms with everyone for the sake of all your other guild mates.
b. Be considerate of your guildies game play. While being a part of a guild means helping each other out, you should not expect help all of the time. We all have our own goals in the game. We are not here to carry you through the whole game, we will help where we can, but do not expect us to hold your hand through every step of whatever it is you are trying to make.
4. Assholes get Booted
a. Don't be that guy (or girl). We (the leadership) reserve the right to kick you if your asshole-ness starts to make us angry.
