The Fancy Cat leadership team does not believe in formal alliances. We prefer having a "whitelist" of people and guilds who have proved they are trustworthy by their actions* in-game. The Fancy Cat leadership is NOT interested in the protection/pitty of larger guilds and will never be the vassal/pawn of larger guilds. All guilds and players are created equally in our eyes. It doesn't matter how big or small of a organization they are, we will see what they are really made of before we deem any group "an okay bunch" and decide they are part of our "whitelist."
We are not faction killers, but our whitelist is one step above just being neutral. We are helpful cats, we will lend whitelisted guilds a hand when we can and intervene if we see them in trouble. We do this because whitelisted guilds are guilds we have seen do the same for us. Most likely we would help our own faction regardless, but we have a special interest in keeping overall good relations with guilds who have already shown us kindnesses.
We will take our guildies opinion of players and guilds to heart. If there is somebody out there who camped or a guild that harassed a member, they will be blacklisted. Favorable opinions our members hold will also be taken into consideration. Enough reports of fair treatment and mutual trust from our members will win the favor of the guild list. We are a guild, a gaming family, and we want to make sure anybody who has done our members wrong or right are treated accordingly.
Please direct inquiries on any sort of guild relations to the leadership team(Radnirok, Furo, Jerns and myself). We are the only people empowered to speak for the guild as a whole. While we say we do not believe in proper "alliances" that does not mean we are not interested in keeping an open dialog with other guilds.
On that note, members: please refrain from making promises or soliciting help on behalf of the guild unless asked to do so. If you promise not to kill somebody or you want help from another guild, that's fine, but do not drag the guild into your personal business.
*actions can include (but are not limited to) not attacking us while trading or taking an interest in being sociable with our guild as a whole.
